What Makes Our Instructors Special

Additionally, in a private swim class, the instructor will be in the pool for the lesson, unlike a swim team coach who usually stands on the pool deck. With an instructor in the pool, private swim lessons effectively incorporate the best learning model for swim improvement: Explain, Demonstrate, Practice, Critique, and Re-practice.

Having learned to swim at two years old and a competitive swimmer since the age of six, Chris has participated in all levels of the sport. From swim teams growing up, to high school, university, two national teams, and masters swimming. The water has always been a part of his life. Though, his experience of the sport does not end at simply swimming, as he has spent years coaching, everything from private lessons, masters teams, and even to a national team. He brings forth both the knowledge and experience to help fulfill any and all swimming goals.

Jacqueline began swimming at the age of three and became a competitive swimmer at six, competing both nationally and internationally. Over the years, she has trained with Olympic coaches, been part of national teams, and competed as an NCAA college athlete. She continues to swim and train with Master swim teams.
With many years of coaching experience, Jacqueline has worked with swimmers of all levels—whether they’re just starting out or looking to refine their technique. She believes in developing strong foundational skills to help swimmers achieve their full potential in the water.
